8"x10" on 9"x12" Arches
This was a crazy idea to start, but I could not shake it. This is also probably the only Golden Open acrylic painting I will do. It is just not suited well to me. (Definitely DON'T use a moist palette) I will certainly be doing a tonal classical piece on tinted Canson paper next, then back to watercolor.
This piece was inspired by the Mythological Griffin..The ageless sign of both strength and intelligence. I really admire how Adam has handled being true to himself in the recent tabloid exposure with such agility. I wish him all the crazy success I know he will have. I hope you will enjoy!

P.S. The American Stage show opened last night and sold two of the 7 immediately. They will be on display until June 26th at the Raymond James Theater.
